Yes I am from Norway. Unfortunately I don't have information about a requirement for BAE Hawk trainers from RNoAF -- I do know that Espen Barth Eide working in the MoD was visiting South Korea last year and I think one of the things he discussed was the trainers produced by South Korea.

I am a bit curious; why this interest for what may or may not have happened in Norway late 80s early 90s?

Are you from Norway? If so, I have one question for you? I am looking for information that came from the late 1980's or early '90's? There was once metioned that the RNoAF had a requirement for a small number of BAe Hawk trainers, probably to replace the F-5B in trainer role or as Lead-in-Figter-Trainer? Do you have any more information about that, and/or were else can I find the information back?
