Hey Schorsch I have finished what is effectively my BEng in Aerospace. This final year I am going to be doing my masters and after that I will be job hunting . I did quite well in Aerodynamics/CFD and Non-Linear Dynamics & Chaos at the end of this 3rd year and as a result I will be doing my thesis on Separated Flow Dynamics. The aim of the research project is to write a CFD code that can analyse the nature of separated flows for wings that are transonic, at high AoA, and high Re No's - something novel in CFD and as a result has got some support from Airbus and I think Boeing.

I'm going to start reading around the topic as much as possible but any help in this area would obviously be appreciated.

Any news? Picked up a job?

Don't whine guys, you all are much better than I am, the most aerospace thing I have ever made was laser measurement of a space satellite fuel tank. I don't even know which type it was!!!

Yeah its pretty impressive - especially with the aura the company has after developing everything it does - but Schorsch where do you work currently and are you moving to airbus?

But maybe in the near future I can say "working for a European company that Americans whine about".

I am merely in the process of getting a degree at Bristol in aeronautical engineering. Dj on the other hand is an engineer for the Skunk Works. As if you read his profile he says - an engineer for an american company that europeans whine about - hence why I asked which company and he responded with the Skunk Works/LM.
